Join the online Geowebinar on 5 April 2022: “Modern Airborne Gravity Surveys: Current Status and Directions of Development”.

We invite you and your colleagues to join an online webinar on “Modern Airborne Gravity Surveys: Current Status and Directions of Development”.

Airborne gravimetry is a new and rapidly developing method of exploration geophysics, widely used both domestically and abroad. The gravity anomaly models it provides are widely used at various stages of geological exploration and are particularly effective for hydrocarbon exploration problems.

Progressive modernisation of instrumentation has expanded the methodological capabilities of surveys and made measurements possible under more demanding conditions, while advances in data processing have enabled highly accurate gravity field models. Together, these developments have strengthened the role of airborne gravimetry and significantly broadened the range of geological and geophysical problems it can address.

The presentation provides a brief overview of the development of airborne gravity technologies and draws on Aerogeofizika’s more than twenty years of experience in scientific and production surveys.

The seminar will be held online on the Geowebinars mining and geological webinar platform.
