Surveying has been completed in Polymetal’s licence areas in the Altai Republic. Detailed work was carried out to identify areas prospective for copper, polymetallic and precious metal ore deposits.
Surveying has been completed in Polymetal’s licence areas in the Altai Republic. Detailed work was carried out to identify areas prospective for copper, polymetallic and precious metal ore deposits. The methods included magnetometry, gamma-ray spectrometry and frequency-domain airborne electromagnetic surveying. The work used the new EM-4T airborne electromagnetic system, implemented as a suspended platform. The system measures a wide range of resistivities and provides high survey productivity. The survey used a Eurocopter AS-350 helicopter.
