GNPP Aerogeofizika has completed an integrated airborne geophysical survey at a scale of 1:10,000 in the Verkhotina area of Arkhangelsk Oblast for AGD DIAMONDS. The work aimed to find primary diamond deposits. The suite included airborne transient electromagnetic surveying (AMPP) using the HELITEM system, and aeromagnetic prospecting. The responses of several reference kimberlite pipes in the airborne electromagnetic data were analysed. Their response signatures were established and will be used to identify prospective geophysical anomalies. The acquired data are currently being processed. The total survey area was 282.2 km².
