An integrated airborne geophysical survey at a scale of 1:25,000 in the Tuyukan ore field (Irkutsk Oblast), using the new HoriZOND electromagnetic system, has been completed.
The survey provided geophysical support for prospecting and included magnetic prospecting, gamma-ray spectrometry and time-domain electromagnetic surveying.
The work used the latest HoriZOND airborne electromagnetic system, which implements the transient electromagnetic method in accordance with modern system performance requirements.
System parameters were selected based on preliminary geophysical modelling.
