On Tuesday, 30 January, JSC GNPP Aerogeofizika staff will give 7 presentations on the company’s principal areas of activity, new technologies, and specific features of airborne geophysical data processing and interpretation.

Plan to attend presentations on current topics of interest to you and meet the speakers:

10.00 – 10.20. Capabilities of modern airborne geophysical technologies for studying areas prospective for oil and gas in settings characterised by salt-dome tectonics. P. S. Babayants, G. I. Brovkin, A. V. Kolmakov.

10.40 – 11.00. Airborne geophysics using uncrewed platforms: current status and prospects. Zudenkov I.A., Charintsev K.A., Trusov A.A.

12.00 – 12.20. Characteristics of airborne gravimetry using strapdown inertial navigation systems. Brovkin G.I., Babayants P.S.

12.20 – 12.40. Processing airborne gravity data using source-like approximations. Brovkin G.I., Tkachev E.A.

13.20 – 13.40. Experience in aeromagnetic gradiometry. Kontarovich O.R., Tkachev E.A., Pavlov S.A.

14.40 – 15.00. The new HoriZOND time-domain airborne electromagnetic system. Ageev A.O., Kontarovich O.R., Trusov A.A.

15.20 – 15.40. Specific aspects of processing and interpreting data from a time-domain airborne electromagnetic system in surveys of diamond-bearing areas of western Yakutia. Trusov A.A., Kalmykov B.A., Malkov A.A., Goncharov E.M.

2 presentations address current issues in next-generation airborne gravimetry. Modern airborne gravimetry comprises a complex technological combination of measurement hardware and software, including navigation support, original survey procedures, and data-processing technologies and algorithms. Implementing all these factors as an inseparable whole is essential to making effective use of the capabilities of modern airborne gravity surveying

The seminar will take place at the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth, Russian Academy of Sciences (IPE RAS, 10 Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street, Building 1, Moscow). Admission is free; please bring your passport.
